2. päivä rauhallisemmissa keleissä. Kämmi ja ekan lähdön missaaminen. Toisessa lähdössä ok startti, mutta boat speed ei pitkällä radalla riittänyt.

GP 1, 14.-15.5.

Kausi 2011 alkoi dramaattisissa merkeissä. Tuulta 1. päivälle oli luvattu reilusti päälle 10m/s. Tämä kävikin toteen. Harmajan historiatietojen perusteella puhalsi tasaista 15 m/s.
X-Dreamin osalta päivän saldo oli ensimmäiseksi vesilläolopäiväksi kohtuullinen. Sijat 4. 4. 3. ja DNF. Viimeiseen lähtöön emme päässeet pahasti revenneen isopurjeen vuoksi. Katsotaan mitä 2. päivä tuo tullessaan. Plakkariin yksi erittäin hyvä startti, muuten lähinnä selviytymistä radalla.

Mukana menossa oli 1. päivänä pinnassa 2010 kaudella kiinnitetty Ville Tikanen laidalla ja köysissä Immu, Laba, Juha x 2 ja Hessu.

uusi kesä uude purjeet

Kesä 2010 lähestyy
Purkki on jälleen saatu veteen. Tuhkauhkankin uhalla Laaba haki Tanskasta uutta rättiä keulaan. G1 ja Fokka odottaa meille ensimmäistä nostoa. Paketti oli rapea, joten odottava fiilis saa toivoittavasti ansaitun palkinnon viikonloppuna. Kauden korkki jäi avaamatta keskiviikkona, kun huomasimme uusien vanttien olevan liian pitkät. Samalla havaittiin pieni ongelma förstaagissa - irronnut säije, jotne sekin meni vielä vaihtoon. Pikainen keikka Baltic Riggingillä saattaa kuitenkin pelastaa suunnitellun viikonlopputreenin.

Talven aikana Vene kävi vikalla purjehduksella sattuneen kömmähdyksen vuoksi Linkun telakalla tarkastuksessa. Samaten Bukh sai uudet sisuskalut Rod-Roossin käsittelyssä Hangosss.

Näillä ilveillä kohti kauden kisoja. Ajatuksissa on jättää Runtti tällä kertaa väliin ja keskittyä lomapurjehdukseen kisojen välissä.

Season 2009

After long silence.
The team is setting goals for the season 2009. At the moment it seems like we are setting our main goals into two events.

1. Is the x-cup in Hanko, wich is also the class masters regatta.

Gotland Runt 2008

Gotland Runt went quite well. We finished 30rd out of 87 boats. The crew worked well through out the whole race. We did one major tactical failure when we sailed further away from Gotland on the first morning and another on the way back to Almagrundet when we chose to sail on West side of the track. Weather did not suite our boat well because there was no chance to use spinaker more than 1 hour. Even though we learned allot and did a complete and good race. The boat is now back in Hanko for more serious racing.

Hi to all,

After serious problems with the engine earlier in the week (we lifted the boat up in Skogsby and changed the engine) the boat is now in Sandhamn ready to start on Sunday.

Volvo Suursaari Race 2008

The biggest finish sailing regatta starts tomorrow. The crew is really exited and enjoys the gained experience from last weekend. In the last start we finally found the right boat speed.

we start at 21:20 along with the open class. Let`s see when we reach the others. heh Wind should be relatively light so we prepare our selves to finish during Sunday afternoon.
The boat is in good condition as you can see from the new colours in hull and boom. The Danish genoa works well and the crew has new uniforms for the weekend. Here some pictures from last weekend
